Leanne got involved with the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust through the BT Backing Talent Programme. This opportunity allowed Leanne to attend two events in October and February where she had the opportunity to learn from world class sports performers about what it takes to reach the top in sport, benefitting from the skills and experience they have gained as Olympic, Paralympics, World and Commonwealth Medallists.
As well as working with all of the elite sports performers, Leanne met Dame Kelly Holmes herself, and participated in a series of challenging workshops and activities on goal setting, nutrition, psychology, dealing with the media and much much more!
Leanne said: ”The talks by Dame Kelly Holmes were very inspirational. As a whole I found the DKH Legacy Trust days very inspiring and they enabled me to see that dreams can be achieved”.
