Connie Henry - Further Information

DKH Legacy Trust:
Connie has been part of the BT 'Backing Talent' project in East London, and recently led the twilight session. She particularly enjoys 'giving back' to the part of the programme which focuses on parental support, because it's often forgotten that parents don't always know how to support a talented child.

Giving back to sport:
Connie has set up a very successful athletics training squad in North West London with 9 top coaches including Clarence Calender and world class athletes like  Larry Achike as part of her staff.  Children from the squad have been so successful that they’ve been invited to no.10 Downing Street to meet the Prime Ministers. Although this success is great Connie says “the main purpose of this Squad is he help the children realise they are more than the circumstances they are born into.”
