Lesley Goddard - Olympian/World Championship Medallist - Shooting

Biography:

Lesley represented England at Clay Target Shooting since 1991, in September 1993 Lesley shot a qualifying score to represent GB internationally. She competed in her first World Cup in April 1994, and has represented Great Britain internationally every year since.

There have been many team and individual medals but her most notable achievements are; Commonwealth Team Silver, World Championship Team Silver and 4th Individual. Throughout her career, Lesley has competed in the following countries as a representative of GB shooting team: America,  Australia, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia and Spain.

Lesley was the only British lady representative to qualify for the Commonwealth Games in 2006 where she achieved bronze. In 2006, Lesley won the Quota place for the Beijing Olympics after a result of 4th place at the World Championships, with a World ranking of 4th and 3rd in Europe.

In May Lesley won the English Open Universal Trench Championships.
