World class DKH Legacy Trust athlete, Danielle Waterman, is currently leading the field for Team England in the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2010 campaign as they brace themselves for their third consecutive final against New Zealand on Sunday 5th September.

The Harnessing Talent athlete, who benefits from the Trust’s initiative that supports elite sports performers develop a career outside of competitive sport, was among the star players to help England reach the penultimate knockout stage of the competition by scoring against Australia with a thrilling 15-0 defeat.

She has also managed to earn herself the impressive ‘player of the match’ accolade along the way by scoring 2 tries against the USA in the quarter final match, which England won 37-10. This adds to the talented full back’s impressive array of achievements throughout her rugby career, which includes being England’s current youngest ever capped player after gaining her first international cap at the age of 18.
