The final chapter in the 'new faces trilogy' sees the Trust's new Sports Performer Co-ordinator, Niccola Hyslop, joining the team full-time.

Joining the Trust with a background in events and marketing, Niccola spent two years working in Australia before returning to the UK to concentrate on working in sport once again. Niccola said, "I wanted to change paths and did my MA in Sports Management to get back into working in sport. Now I have the graduate internship with the Trust, I am going to be able to gain the necessary experience to continue working within a sports environment."

As Sports Performer Co-ordinator, Niccola works with the Harnessing Talent athletes to ensure they are looked after and are up to date with the work of the Trust. The position as Sports Performer Co-ordinator is key to how the programme works as a whole and Niccola is sure to be kept very busy during her time in the position.

Niccola takes over from Franki Jus-Burke, who after working with the Trust for more than a year, has decided to return to her rowing roots and to train for a place with the GB London 2012 rowing team.

Like Franki, Niccola is also a keen sportswoman and is a former member of the Yorkshire Cross Country team, representing at English schools and club level. These days, Niccola plays Korfball (don't worry, we didn't know what that is either! You can find out here) and is in her second season with the Highbury Korfball Club.

"Now I'm in the position full-time, I can't wait to get started and get to know the rest of the team."

The Trust also welcomes a new Finance Officer, Kemi Fadare, who started with last month and will be working with the team three days a week.

The Trust looks forward to working with Niccola and Kemi on the team, and we wish Frank the very best with her training for 2012.
